I had the privilege of teaching English in Japan to students in kindergarten through the ninth grade for over four years. This rewarding experience taught me that developing a strong relationship with a student and patiently working with them is the most effective teaching strategy. I understand that every student is unique and works at their own pace, and as a tutor I work to find the best tools and resources for each student. I'd love to help students with their Japanese, reading, writing, phonics, literature, English, and more. I can also teach English as a second language. I received my degree from the University of Louisville. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy reading, studying Japanese culture, and watching Japanese films.
